Three’s Company’s first independent production and a huge hit at the Buxton Fringe. This riotous farce which takes place whilst two hapless businessmen wait for a train sold out its original three performances and went to sell out another two. Rave reviews, nominations for Tom Crawshaw’s (first solo) script as well as Best Comedy and Best Production followed along with an award from the Fringe for Best Production by a Young Company. Something about Yaz Al-Shaater’s idiotic Nick Shorten or the sight of Michael Grady-Hall being covered in milk seemed to catch on and Platformation was to return the following two years, playing to the largest indoor theatre audiences the Fringe has seen, and also won a place in Manchester’s premiere new writing festival ‘24:7’
