The hotly anticipated sequel to Platformation appeared at the Buxton Fringe - alongside the original - in 2004, where it built on the previous year’s success, selling out the entire run.

Picking up the story of Mike and Nick where Platformation left off, Income Taxi took us to the office of Gerry Jameson - set to make the deal with the intrepid businessmen. However, with an out-of-control illegal taxi company, an angry girlfriend, a customer with an elephant, an essay on political theory to write - and a visit from a Tax Inspector - Gerry has problems of his own. Blending economic theory with slapstick chases and quick-fire dialogue, Crawshaw’s script saw the company creating an ambitious two-act farce which set up the context for the following year’s Plane Of Existence...
