Why Support Three’s Company?
Since being founded in 2000 by Yaz Al-Shaater, Tom Crawshaw and Michael Grady-Hall, Three's Company has staged 20 productions, in Buxton, Manchester, London and Edinburgh – including 8 entirely new works. Since its formation, the company has worked with and encouraged the most talented young actors and designers, allowing them to help create award-winning theatre productions at some of the finest theatre spaces in the country.
This year, Three's Company is moving its base of operations to London with exciting plans for new productions, as well as taking past successes to the capital. This represents an exciting opportunity to take their huge success, locally and at the Edinburgh Fringe, to the next level – among the most celebrated theatres and companies in the world.
Despite their prolific record of award-winning theatre, Three's Company still relies almost entirely on the money raised from ticket sales – and while productions usually sell out, this is often not enough to cover the cost of producing professional theatre around the country. Three's Company is a not-for-profit company: its producers Yaz, Tom and Michael do not take a penny from its productions, with any profits going towards future works.
In order to be able to continue to produce new works, as the company moves to a national and international platform, we are searching for new sources of funds. We are therefore looking to those who have provided vital support to our company in its formative years – as well as our newest supporters – to ask if any of them can help us move to the next level.
