Gareth is currently studying puppetry at the Central School of Speech and Drama. His theatre experience includes work ranging from puppetry director and consultant (Life of Pi, The Minack Theatre, Strings and Yarns, Prague Quadrennial), to designing for institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum. He has also performed and trained as a physical performer, with practitioners such as Dan O’Neil and Won Kim.

In addition to theatre, Gareth’s interests and experience lie in visual art, illustration and photography. He has worked as a illustrator on the Webcomic Irrelevant Science Corp. for a number of years and has also worked as an inventor with the company ?Whatif!, on a commission for Lego. He is currently researching objects and figurines in photography, and has varied experience as a performance photographer.

Gareth believes that the only way to combat violence, social unrest and world hunger is through being ridiculous. He is a sworn Dadaist.
