'Play On Words' selling out

That's right folks - three days into our run in Edinburgh and we had our first sell-out show last night!
We're used to having to turn people away from shows in Buxton but in Edinburgh this was a big surprise to us all. The tragi-comedy of quick-witted punning, over-shaken drinks bottles and overflowing swear jars seems to be going down a storm north of the border.
We now await the publication of our first review which we expect from Three Weeks any day soon...
Watch this space - if the show continues to sell-out you may need to book in advance for tickets.

A Man of Certain Age

Congratulations to Michael who was today announced as the winner of the 'Best Direction' award at this years Lost Theatre: One Act Theatre Festival. He won for his direction on the Three's Company and fragile theatre co-production of A Woman of Uncertain Age. This si the second solo award for Michael - and the seventh for Three's Company.

The play, written by Maggie Dealey, will be performed again at the Tristan Bates Theatre on May 20th where he will collect his award from Alison Steadman.

In other news, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Yaz who reaches the grand age of 21 today! I was going to say "congratulations" but all he really did was stay alive... Though considering his accident-prone nature, maybe that does deserve congratulations...?
