Theatre Materials
Breaking news... Three's Company have just been invited to speak at The Centre for Excellence in Theatre Training (CETT) this April. We will be taking part in the two day 'Theatre Materials/Material Theatres' conference this April, speaking about Creative Enterprise. The event will be led by Karl Rouse, Senior Lecturer in Alternative Theatre & New Performance Practice at Central School of Speech & Drama, with David Kirby (distinguished author of Entrepreneurship) and Elizabeth Bradley from New York University.

The international conference is one of a series of annual events run by CETT, and we're very excited to be involved!

Texan Tragi-Comedy?

Congratulations to Tom, whose Play On Words has been chosen to be performed in a High School theatre festival in Austin, Texas. Following Three's Company's successful Edinburgh Fringe production of the play (as part of its first ever UK tour) it attracted a number of offers from directors from around the globe.

Play On Words will hopefully be seen closer to home in the not-too-distant future, with plans for a Three's Company revival on the cards...

Introducing... 'Auditorium'

We're very excited to announce Auditorium - a sparkling new experimental comedy that we'll be taking around the UK for our Summer 2008 Tour.

We can already confirm that Yaz Al-Shaater will star as 'Guy' - the accident-prone bookshop owner who finds an audience in his storeroom. The project will also see Tom, Yaz & Michael finally reunited after completing their various training (at Oxford, CSSD and RADA respecively).

Auditorium will be a farce like none before, mixing traditional theatre conventions with a truly unique, interactive, multi-media experience. It will be Three's Company's largest production to date with a planned cast in excess of 10 and is aiming for some of the Edinburgh Fringe's largest theatres. Watch this space for more info - and how to be involved...

'Play On Words' transfers to London

Yes that's right! - after it's sell-out success in Edinburgh, the fast-punning tragi-comedy will be making a transfer to the Etcetera theatre in London next month.

This is your last chance to see this production as it comes to the end of its 43 performances across the UK. Performance dates are confirmed as:
  • Tuesday 9th October, 9:30pm
  • Wedneasday 10th October, 9:30pm
  • Thursday 11th October, 9:30pm
  • Thursday 18th October, 9:30pm
  • Friday 19th October, 9:30pm
  • Saturday 20th October, 9:30pm
  • Sunday 21st October, 8:30pm
The Etcetera Theatre is a fantastic studio found above The Oxford Arms on Camden High Street. It's a minute down the road from Camden Town tube and just opposite Camden market.

Whether you missed it in Edinburgh or fancy seeing it again why not pop along one night and join us all for an exciting night's entertainment and a drink in the pub after. Do drop us a line or join our facebook event if you're coming so we can look out for you. And if you still need convincing - check out our reviews and awards or audience feedback.

Fire Regulations... sorry!

Apologies to those who were not able to make it into Play On Words over the last few days. Due to fire regulations we were not able to fit any more in. Our final performance on Saturday has also sold out... but we can confirm that we will be adding another on Sunday at 1:30pm: book now!
