Comrade Michael!
Just five months out of drama school and we are proud to announce that Michael has got himself a part at the National Theatre for this spring season.
After a series of auditions involving Russian and very long sentences he has recently been offered the part of Andrushya (a tank officer) in Burnt By The Sun. The play - to be performed on the Lyttelton stage - follows a young tank officer as he struggles to... Okay, not really. It's about the personal struggle of revolutionary hero Colonel Kotov, in a country about to be overcome by the dark shadow of Stalin's purges. A good rib-tickling comedy we expect then...
You can read more - and book a ticket - here. You can also see Michael's name in the cast list - you know... in case you thought we were making it up...
We wish Michael the best of luck with the rehearsals - which luckily leave enough time for us to keep working on 'Adventure Time' - and our new show for this year - more details soon.
